Maggie_Blacks
Last week I went to a new Jazz lounge in Milton, "Maggie Black's". Newly opened the lounge greted me with a jazz duo jazz. With a lounge bar on the lower level and a restaurant on the top, Maggie Black is planning to have a live Jazz session every Tuesday to Sunday nights. The owner, Derek Scott gave a tour to the upper level, which he renovated with nice polished wodden bar. The Lounge bar has no cover charge and the restaurant is $15 admission. It's really great to see more live Jazz in the city. Check it out!

L_homme_du_train
A comedy/drama movie by Patrice Leconte, "L'homme du Train" (or Man on the Train in English) opens up with a story of a robber named Milan on a train arriving in a new town. He then went to a pharmacist to get a painkiller. Here he met the character Monsieur Manesquier, an older man who later on revealed as a professor in literature. They walked out from the pharmacy together and events unfold as they get acquainted with each other.
From the witty dialogue, we then learn that each of the character wishes the other's life. They stayed together until Saturday, a big day for both of the men where the professor has to have a heart operation and Milan going to rob a bank.
Originally released in 2002, this movie has great acting, good lines and entertaining. If you likes to toy with movie interpretation, you definitely will enjoy it cause this is the type of movie that can be interpreted in many ways. Either that it is a European movie with nonsensical event or that there is a message behind it.
Reading from various review at IMDB after watching the movie, I get to learn on how different people interpret the movie. One chap has the best interpretation of all relating to football and FIFA! haha. I think this movie is best enjoyed when you haven't read too many reviews about it. So please refrain from reading more and watch the movie!
When you do, get back here and contact me. We can have a long interesting talk about it :)

Gie
The best Indonesian movie I've watch so far, "Gie", by Riri Riza and acted by Nicholas Saputra, has stunning cinematographies.
The movie is about Soe Hok Gie, a young Indonesian-chinese activist who dedicated his life for his country. Trying to make it better by analysing and critisizing the government through his articles and finally bringing down Orde lama Soekarno. When this was succesful, a new military regime appears. But his friends and family who tried to adjust themselves to this moved away from him. He still was restless.
A definite must see.
